The Humphreys County 911 Center will be joining an alert system named NIXLE that will allow messages to be sent from the 911-dispatch office to cell phones via text message, an email sent to your email address, and/or a message sent to your NIXLE account.  This system WILL NOT send information to home phones.  This program will start on March 1,2011.  If you sign up before March 1st, you may receive messages from time to time as we train on using the system.

Nixle is being used across the entire United States.  Several government and private agencies in the state of Tennessee including TBI, are using the system.  Please view and print the step by step instructions on signing up by clicking here.  You will need Adobe to view the PDF file.   To sign up now, go to: http://www.nixle.com.
